This is a public website for my writing and projects. You can read it without allowing Google Analytics.
If you choose “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics records visits, page views and reading activity, device/browser information, approximate location and referral information. It uses cookies to distinguish visits. I use the reports to understand which articles and projects people find useful and how they reach the site.
Advertising storage, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in this site’s tag. The site does not send names, email addresses or message contents as custom analytics events. Page addresses sent by this site’s tag omit query strings and fragments; custom outbound-link events contain the destination’s domain only.
“No thanks” keeps the analytics tag off. You can change your choice using “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing permission stops future collection from this site and removes its Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already collected.
Google’s privacy policy explains Google’s processing. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out tool.
AWS hosts this site and receives the network information needed to deliver pages. Links to Substack, podcast services and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Substack measures readership and subscriptions within its own platform; this site does not collect subscriber email addresses.
